Choosing an all-inclusive resort is about more than finding a beautiful beach. The right fit depends on the atmosphere, room category, dining, activities and level of service you want. If Jamaica is on your list, these questions can help you decide whether JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar belongs in your vacation plans.

As the resort prepares for its scheduled December 2026 reopening, room features, restaurant concepts, schedules and included amenities remain subject to change.

What kind of getaway does JOIA Rose Hall offer?

Following an extensive renovation, JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar is scheduled to reopen in December 2026 with a refreshed, adults-only luxury all-inclusive experience in Montego Bay. The beachfront resort is expected to feature 295 renovated suites, including Swim-up and Butler Suites, along with four pools, a private beach, four bars and five specialty restaurants. Renovated rooms and terraces draw inspiration from Jamaica’s local flora, colors and creative spirit.

Who is JOIA Rose Hall best suited for?

JOIA Rose Hall may appeal to adults looking for an upscale beachfront stay with multiple dining choices, personalized service and a balance of relaxation and activities. Travelers who prioritize a specific suite feature, butler service, diving, golf or access to neighboring resort facilities should ask their travel advisor to confirm the applicable room category, availability and added costs.

What is included in the all-inclusive experience?

The resort is promoted as an all-inclusive property, with dining, refreshments, entertainment and select activities forming part of the experience. Current resort information highlights specialty restaurants, four bars, 24-hour room service, a 24-hour Star Café, professional shows, spa wet areas, a fitness room and water sports.

Specific inclusions, schedules, reservation requirements and time limits may vary after reopening. Your travel advisor can confirm what is included for your travel dates and chosen room category.

Which suites include elevated service?

Butler Suites are among the renovated room categories, and select accommodations may include personalized service. Because eligible categories and individual butler services can vary, your travel advisor can compare current room descriptions and help you choose the level of service that matches your getaway.

What dining experiences can guests expect?

Current resort information highlights four bars and five specialty restaurants, including a celebration of Jamaican cuisine. Final restaurant concepts, operating schedules, dress requirements and reservation policies may change as the resort completes its renovation. Your travel advisor can review the latest dining details before you travel.

What can guests do beyond the beach and pool?

Water activities: The resort highlights water sports and direct access to the beach. Activity schedules, time limits and possible fees should be confirmed for your stay.

Entertainment: Professional shows are among the resort’s highlighted amenities. Schedules will be available during the stay.

Spa and wellness: The resort highlights a spa with wet areas and massages, along with a fitness room. Treatments and other select experiences may carry an additional charge.

Availability, inclusions and added costs can vary. Your travel advisor can help clarify resort and package details before departure.

How does the resort connect guests with Jamaica’s natural setting?

From the pools to the Caribbean shoreline, the resort is designed around its beachfront setting. A Pool Concierge supports the signature Beach Experience, while the nearby Grange Pen Marine Sanctuary shelters a living reef. Iberostar also highlights a single-use-plastic-free hotel, responsible fish and seafood consumption, purified-water fountains, a coral nursery and plant-based food options.

How can a travel advisor help personalize the stay?

A travel advisor can help compare flights, package options, suite categories, resort inclusions, transfers and add-on experiences. That guidance makes it easier to understand which choices fit your priorities, what may cost extra and which details should be confirmed before booking.
